• If you miss the start time, you may not be able to join. Doors are locked when classes commence. Traffic is unpredictable, so always allow a little extra time - ESPECIALLY if its your first time.
• The studio doors open 10-15 minutes prior to class
• Make sure you book a spot too, especially for Reformer as classes can fill up fast. 

Depends on when you attend: 

• Outside of business hours in the whole area, parking is FREE (with the exception of Stafford Street carpark on Saturdays). That also means you can park at the DOJ or Mission Australia carparks.
• DURING business hours, the best place to park is Stafford Street Carpark at $1.50 for the hour. Don't have coins, or running behind schedule? No problem, they have a handy EasyPark app so you can pay while walking to our door :)

• Please do not park in the carparks in front of our entrance during business hours though, you'll get a stern letter from the other businesses. 😏

• Lastly, all street parking is ticketed but FREE for the first 2 hours (Mon-Sat, 9-5). The perfect length of time to squeeze in a class!

• We encourage you to pace yourself as needed, even in our quicker paced classes. We offer variations wherever possible and youre encouraged to choose the layer that works for you.
• Wobbling, flailing or feeling silly  is normal and no one is here to judge you. We want you to have a giggle, take a breath, and remember that it's all part of the fun. Those fancy insta poses are not goals; the real flex is learning to listen to your body, feeling your body strengthen, having a bit of fun, and making friends.

The best bit is, you can drop in & out anytime of the entry-level classes, whenever you need some tips or a refresher!! We also offer ACCESSIBLE YOGA, for those with reduced mobility, who are unable to maintain a Down Dog or who can’t get up & down from the floor. Read More on Accessible Yoga Here .

• Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Layers are helpful in winter.

• Bring water with you, and a mat for yoga (if you don't have one, we do have mats for hire so bring a $2 coin!).

• Pilates grip socks are recommended & encouraged, you can find them for sale in our reception area!

  They aren't mandatory though, so if you forget to bring them one day, or you get super hot in a class and need to peel them off for a while, that's totally fine :)

• Choose a spot in the middle or back of the class. This allows you to see not only the teacher, but how other students are moving, which can help you feel less self-conscious and also means that even if you turn left or right, you still have someone to watch. If your hearing or vision needs a assist, front of the class is always a better option.

 Please use our booking system to register for a class. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your place (even if there’s only 10 minutes until class starts!).

Did you know Punchpass can be used as a handy on-the-go app? This means you can book or cancel classes from your phone without needing to visit our website, our Facebook, or our Instagram!

• Apple: Once logged in click the share button, choose add to home screen and click add (make sure you open in Safari browser or add button won't appear).

• Android: Will prompt you to install, Add Punchpass to Homescreen, will appear at the bottom of your screen, click and follow the prompts.

We will do our absolute best to find covers for the classes, when staff are unwell and unable to teach. This will not always be feasible, and class cancellations are a possibility.

• If a class is cancelled and you are already reserved in that class, you will be notified by text message, so please ensure the correct phone number is in Punchpass. Your pass will be deleted from the cancelled class, and will be returned to your Punchpass profile to use at another time.
• As this is a situation well beyond our control, we are not able to offer pass or membership extensions for sick teachers. However, if the change of teacher occurs during within the 5hr cancellation window, we do offer a complimentary cancellation opportunity. This enables you to use the pass for another class, within the same membership fortnight or pass expiry date.

Our teachers are all skilled and trained to teach group fitness classes, and love what they do. We always encourage anyone with an acute injury, to work with a health care professional. To ensure you regain your strength, in the safest way, before being cleared to return to group fitness.

Not uncommon! Our Reformer classes especially have been SO popular, especially evenings, weekends, and those with a creche. Bookings open 7 days in advance for Reformer & 21 days prior for Yoga. The BEST way to get into your favourite class, is to book as you leave you previous class or use the WAITLIST feature. Why? Because people always cancel, in fact, nearly every single class that is at full capacity, usually has 2 free spots an hour before it starts. Here's how the waitlist works; 

1. When someone cancels, everyone on the waitlist gets a "Spot Open" email, send automatically (from Punchpass) to the email you signed up with. Make sure you add Punchpass to your safe senders list! 
2.  When you receive that email, jump on the link to grab the place. It's first in best dressed, as everyone on the waitlist gets the same email.

Alternatively, jump into Punchpass 1-2 hours before class is due to start in case no one has claimed the spot from the waitlist email!

We recommend our kids (ages 5-10) and tweens (ages 10-14) yoga for the young ones in your life. Just as our regular classes are designed with themes, music and timing to nurture adults through the situations we face, so too are our kids/tweens specific classes.

We are aware that growing bodies require classes and movement that protect in a different way, therefore our reformer pilates are also recommended for 14+ only.

At Vital Beat, we love hip hop. But we also love most styles of music as long as it brings a smile to our faces and a wiggle to our hips! We have been delivering beat-laced, music inspired classes since 2016 and have been shaking up the Perth yoga scene ever since. In our classes you will find hip hop, RnB, soul, jazz, funk, reggae, international beats, and popular radio tracks, as well as acoustic covers and modern Vedic mantras. We also have dedication classes, special artist events, and every Friday is Old Skool Fridays – where we play the RnB & Hip Hop classics you grew up with!

In our classes, you can expect to hear Beyonce, Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Craig David, Ed Sheeran, Migos, Ashanti, Dua Lipa, Drake, Lizzo, Khalid, and Jurassic 5.

Students are empowered to take their time and move at a pace that suits them, being mindful of their bodies and communicating with the teacher prior to class. When you've been given the all clear by your health care provider to return it can be beneficial to start with gentle options such as ACCESSIBLE, YIN, REFORMER STRETCH & YIN/YANG before moving into spicier options.

• As classes are designed for adults in both music & theme choice; also with Reformer machines in particular, we want to remain aware of the changing structure of young bodies to ensure they are not placed under undue pressure. 
• Children are booked via the parents profile. This also applies for children 14-15 booked into ‘regular’ classes. Create a profile under your name, then use the 'add child' option in order to be able to book classes for them. 
• If under 16, I generally recommend the Kids/Tweens specific offerings may be more enjoyable, as classes & music are specifically themed for that age group.
